This may be the toughest question of all: who am I?
I am a thinker, with eyes to contemplate and a heart to feel. I thrive on meditation, in quest for inner peace.
I am a mind in constant quest for answers, often caught in the whirlwind of daily events, struggling to make sense out of a too often absurd world.
I have travelled many parts of the world, and lived in several countries. From my birthplace in Egypt, to my childhood and teen years in Lebanon, to my stints in France and in the USA, and to my adoptive homeland (Canada), I have seen much, from social unrests, to war, to death. I have also seen love, the miracle of life, and serenity of the soul when all is well.
My life is a journey. I want it to be an open book for others to learn from and to contribute to. I may never know when the final chapter will be written, but I do want this book of life to be a legacy – albeit temporal – to all those who care.
